A video posted on their TikTok page and Chanen’s Instagram on Dec. 1 shared the couple’s fertility story. “Doctors finally give us the green light to try to conceive,” reads the beginning of the video. “We got pregnant. Bestie is in the bathroom with me as I vomit from the shock of a traumatizing miscarriage that required me to ‘flush’.”
The next part in the video shows the couple dancing in a club “pretending we’re fine when we’re not”. The video continues, “Get pregnant with our rainbow baby.” Then she shows her crying with the words: “Has a second miscarriage on an airplane.”
The 26-year-old couple began dating after meeting while Penn State students and married in February 2020. Chanen has revealed that she was told she would not be able to have children after overcoming an eating disorder in college that prevented her periods . for five years. But after they were both healthy, the couple decided to try for a child.

On social media, Chanen has updated her followers on their quest for fertility. When they were traveling she tweeted a video in November saying, “If only we knew what 2022 would bring… stronger than ever 🤍” Many fans entered the comment box to express supportive messages and send their love for the couple.
About a week ago she posted a video with the caption: “My Christmas Wish” which shows her wrapping a baby gift with the words written over the video, “I’ve heard that if you wrap a baby present under the tree, you’ll have a baby by next Christmas.” They announced their happy news just a week after this video was shared.
The couple’s struggle to conceive, highlighted by them in a TikTok video shared early last month, is already well known to the couple’s fans. We witness footage of the couple having fun as they ride in an open jeep afterwards “doctors are finally giving us the green light to try to conceive.” as Chanen reflected on their year together, which included trying to have a baby.
Unfortunately, the next video had them posing side by side after discovering they were pregnant, only for her to have one “traumatizing miscarriage afterwards.”
