Sonic’s Head A “second wave” to new content in 2023

Sonic the Hedgehog’s producer Takashi Iizuka promised more material for fans in 2023. As reported by Video Games Chronicle, Iizuka spoke about the franchise’s busy year across multiple mediums, including the releases of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic Origins, Sonic Frontiers, and the Sonic Prime series on Netflix.

Sonic the Hedgehog had an eventful year

It’s uncertain whether the second wave will include LEGO’s intended release of five Sonic the Hedgehog kits in 2023. According to the leak, sets will cost between $29.99 and $99.99 and have a variety of piece counts, starting at 292 and going up to 802 for the most expensive item.

Products are supposedly section-based sets, so customers can buy all five to put the parts together into a complete scenario.
